Many people with complex bodies experience heightened sensitivity to movement, position changes, fatigue, pain, and internal cues. Things that feel neutral for others can feel intense, destabilizing, or unpredictable.
This work is not about pushing through discomfort. It is about building support, stability, and trust in how your body responds.
This series is adaptive, not watered down and not made easier.
Adaptive means we meet you where you are, work with the reality of your body, and build capacity without harm.

We move slowly.
We pause often.
We follow the intelligence of your system, not an external standard.
You will be challenged. With care.
This is not yoga as exercise.
This is yoga therapy as a practice for meeting your body where it is.

This is not your mama’s yoga.
It is skilled, thoughtful, and deeply respectful of complex bodies.
Is this therapy?
No. This is adaptive yoga therapy, a somatic modality focused on stabilization, pacing, and regulation. It is not psychotherapy.
Do i need prior yoga experience?
No prior experience is needed. Orientation stays in positions that are supportive for people with dysautonomia. Erika provides multiple options, and the right one is the one that works best for your system in that moment. Chairs, walls, and standing options are always available.
what if i have a bad symptom day?
Pacing and options are built into every class so you can participate safely, even on hard days.
