Healing Practitioners / Your guides

Kanjana Hartshorne, LCSW, C-IAYT, Reiki Master

Kanjana is a psychotherapist, yoga therapist, and Reiki Master who weaves together somatics, energy work, ritual, and creative expression to take therapy beyond the couch and help people reconnect with their inner wisdom. She believes healing is not just about talk—it’s a full-being experience that unfolds through breath, movement, imagination, creativity, and the courage to meet oneself honestly.

As the founder of Healing Hearts Wellness, she leads a team of highly trained clinicians who blend evidence-based therapy with holistic, body-centered approaches. Her retreats and workshops invite people to explore the deep layers of their being and to rediscover their intuition, power, and capacity for renewal.

Kanjana teaches from the belief that we carry both shadow and light—and that transformation happens when we learn to welcome and learn from every part of ourselves. Her spaces are warm, grounded, and intentional, offering participants practices that build inner steadiness, self-compassion, and a sense of sacred connection. Kanjana loves building community and helping people not just understand themselves—but feel themselves, honor themselves, and return to wholeness.

In 2013, Megan was led to acupuncture after Chinese medicine changed her life during a health scare. This has provided a basis for Megan’s passion and drive to continue learning and teaching others of the healing powers of this medicine.

She structures her treatments to allow the time to listen thoroughly to each patient. Megan has successfully treated a wide range of pain, emotional, digestive disorders, and women’s health issues, among other conditions. Megan is interested in treating the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. She often makes diet and lifestyle recommendations to assist her patients in taking their health to the next level.

Megan feels strongly that acupuncture should be accessible to all individuals and works to educate the public on the benefits of acupuncture.  In her free time, Megan enjoys practicing yoga, reading, traveling, skiing, hiking, cooking, live music and spending time with friends and family.
